Maxi88, i think they are gonna give cash this January because if they have any clue about football at all (Not sure if they do) they'll see that we clearly need a striker. We've been weak at left back aswel this season IMO. Its more hope now than anything thats telling me we'll have money in January but i do think we'll have 30 million. I'd imagine so because if not it just puts the nail in our coffin this season because our current squad wont get top 10 the way things are going. And no JP, I wouldn't trust them with your money nevermind me own haha.

Do FSG see it as their mess or Brendan's mess? And what makes people think FSG will spend again this season? They got shafted in the last january window so it isn't the best time to buy players. Plus they have already given BR £30m. I'm not expecting much this January....

Striker first and foremost is what is needed. Johnson is well able to play at LB so I wouldn't have that as urgent. I would rather buy 2 strikers than 1 and a left back

If that is the case it can only mean one thing (because they refused to payout for dempsey, who they had already claimed to have signed!)- brendan can only spend it on players that fit within their business (profit makaing) model and will be seen as saleable assets when they implement their exit strategy. BR is yet to buy any one over 23. Do you think that is his decision or theirs?

No i meant that we should be given 100 million in January, then surely between then and July he can build a proper squad and have them gelled for next season. If we buy smartly with 100 million we wouldnt need to add much over the following 3 summers just 15-20 million a season and by then we should be back in the Champions League and challenging for the title. Once again probably wont happen money wise and easier said than done but its a good idea i think.
