Choice of full-backs important in this game as thats were Stoke are dangerous. If we defend well i think we can win this but some how i dont think we will keep a clean sheet against Crouch!
3-1 with Suarez 2,Sahin. Crouch for Stoke.

i don't think this will be the team but heres what i'd do;
Reina
Wisdom Coates Skrtel johnson
Allen Agger Sahin
Gerrard Suarez Sterling
usually I'm not one for playing players out of position but i think playing agger as the DM would -in theory- make us more solid in midfield, while he is technically good enough so as to not curtail our passing game. and playing gerrard higher up the pitch might give us a bit more of a physical presence in the final 3rd. and having all 3 of skrtel, coates and agger on the pitch would help us with set pieces. having said all that i think the result rests on one mans shoulders -suarez- if he is at his best, we'll win, if he isn't we'll lose.

isnt anyone tempted to play with coates in this game? stoke like to play very direct with lots of crossing. coates is the tallest player we have at 196cm. i thought he did well on thursday ( he even managed to get on the score sheet  )

I say lets stick to our guns - Suso and Sterling for the youthful look, one with speed and pace and the other with a footballing brain. lets tiki taka the hell out of stoke.
and dare i say we will get a penalty or two. Refs tend to make it up after their poor showing.
i say 2-1 or 1-0 to us.
