i get your point faz but I still dont think its worth getting upset about - it was obviously a commercial one - I spose a bit like last season again chelsea when we had a different name on the shirt sponsor that was for charity no problem with that

reading on a few other forums about this seems to just be a commercial reason as we wont need to wear it any other time. I did think myself when the match was on why we didnt wear red but wasnt too bothered

At Fazakerley or Speke perhaps? what about fazakerley ? A nice place that I just came to think about! Close enough to Liverpool for some other posters liking I think!

No what really bothered me was that before yesterday we were in the relegation places.
I wouldnt have cared if they had worn pink tutus as long as we won.
We wear red at home I dont care what we wear away. Hey! Whats relegation compared to the colour of the kit we wear, get your priorities right man!

i meant i dont care because we won, i'm more glad (gladder?) about that than about the kit colors.. but we DIDNT win because we had the third kit on wtf. its ugly as [oops], the black kit also. i thought the all-red kit was introduced by shankly, like the red nets which br brought back?
reds ftw

Traditions of the club ha ha ha
That went years ago, please keep up maybe FSG should do what they want to do just drop the red kit like the Malaysians did at cardiff city seeing that people dont care , i expect two home games now thursday and sunday liverpool to wear black and the third kit as the red kit that defines liverpool football club dosent matter no more . You're being ridiculous now Faz. I get your original point, and I agree with you, but you have to realise that this is just the way things are. It's not a big deal. We were away and we wore one of our away strips. Regardless of who we play at home, we'll always play in red.

Faz lets say you got your way and Liverpool lost say £x of revenue? Would you be happy to pay more per game ticket price to subsidise that tradition? sorry stan its got nothing to do with revenue , there will be plenty of times this season to wear those other kits at the appropriate times , not yesterday at norwich , but if thats the case just wear it at home as well if its down to $$$$$$$$$ It's got everything to do with revenue. In fact, I'd almost guarantee you that that sales of that shirt went up today after yesterday's game.
