Man Utd should be docked 3 points for that! If the FA want to stamp it out - then they have to punish clubs when their whole section of fans is doing it.

agreed.

Sickening sight by the scum of the earth. I find it strange that they can find pleasure singing these sick chants to an empty stadium, like some sort of self gratification. Totally sick in the mind.

I've been to a few games at old trafford, and I can tell you that the aeroplane gesture has been done by a majority.
I've been quite verbal with the people doing it around me and they justify doing it because they say its retaliation for the hillsborough chants.

Its a small minority that start it off, but the tit-for-tat justification is moronic and blows up out of proportion.

No doubt it all started off because of one or two idiots on both sides. Who started it isn't really the issue, the problem is that the reaction to the provocation soils the club.
It was widely regarded that aeroplane gestures where seen at the end of the match. This was obviously some morons that are upset at being beaten.

The true test is going to be at old trafford. I fear for our reputation at that game, because I already have seen toilets broken and seats ripped off, not to mention the said gesture. Knowing the world's eyes will be watching I truly hope that the fans can act with dignity, and avoid reacting to any provocation. The strength not to react and act with dignity would honour them more than acting like juvenile delinquents.

One thing that is interesting is that the smearing of liverpool was widely reported, but on the whole united's actions was hardly mentioned.

Scainer good to hear from someone with some sense.

I believe both sets of fans have a bad element and they start these things deliberately in order to rouse the hatred because they enjoy it and want it to continue.

These people are the minority but others then take their lead either because they are thick (in some cases) but others (majority) fall into the trap set by the bad guys. And so it goes on. I was rather hopeing it would stop but now I feel it would be as bad as ever. I guarantee they will be at it at old trafford just as they will be standing all through the game. It sickens me it really does but its one of those things I am afraid.

Agreed. Stan from what iv heard from people at the game on Sunday there was literally only a tiny few Liverpool fans on it, whilst i saw on SSN there was about 2000 Mancs twats doing it. They say were paranoid but we actually were the victims Sunday its undeniable.

At Anfield it was probably only isolated liverpool fans doing it. They as mentioned where likley in the main stand near to the away fans.

The point your ignoring is that at Old Trafford the majority of liverpool fans have in the past done the aeroplane gesture.
This makes the liverpool away fans as bad as united's.

So hating united fans for doing this is in essence hypocritical if our own fans aren't included for being as bad at old trafford.

It cannot be justified. Chanting about the dead is wrong regardless of team.

I know that. Im on about this one occasion, Sunday. But yes i know there's a few scummy Liverpool fans out there who sing Munich songs and by all means , [oops] them. It just has to stop but it wont.
