Have to agree that Shelvey is likely to be the long term replacement for Gerrard. He is still only 20. Possible that Shelvey is as good as Gerrard was at that age? His style of play is very much the same and if he continues to get better I see no reason to go looking in the transfer market for quite some time in that department.
