Pops Under 23 Player Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 2,104 NZ	I actually think that he'd make a decent defensive midfielder, because his attack isn't that great. Maybe Rodgers should start moulding him for a defensive role, because he has a decent motor and can tackle.

Toothy Under 23 Player T Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 1,537	he will be kept on as a utility player, dont think he excels in any role . He was involved in some of the goals though if i am not mistaken. Can't see him improving much , wheras shelvey has improved and will probably continue to improve

I think that now all the hooharr has died down he'll be out of the lime light and it will will enable him to gradually progress.

Problem is, it wasn't his fault that's what the club paid for him but many don't want to recognize this. He showed before he came to us he could play and I agree that now that he a season under his belt in a red shirt he should be feeling more comfortable and start playing like he was before he joined us.

Didn't see the game last night, but Allen doesn't make many forward passes in the EPL and that's where he needs to improve greatly, although Henderson doesn't hold a candle to him in any area granted. My problem isn't his fee. It's his complete lack of talent/effort/impact. Even if we he got him for a tenner I'd still think we were robbed. He did 'ok' last night but the opposition was hardly high quality - they are currently switzerland's 5th best team!!! Henderson doesn't do anything that your average pub player can't do. Can we close this thread please?
