Last year we overspent, Partly due to the obsession with buying British Talent.

I hope that our owners will be moving forward in terms of finding value for money.

British players cost almost double the price automatically.

I would prefer us to buy young foreign talent for the next 3 years, Meet FFP and hope that all those BIG clubs who overspend will be punished properly.

I have doubts though, What was the potential breakaway league group called g14? That could quite easily return if Barca, Real, United, City, Chelsea et al all vote in favour of it.

enrique coming from Newcastle to Liverpool was hardly the signing of the decade. We have some pull still but not as much as before and can't compete for players once the Champions League teams come in for them at the minute

We only have pull because of our premier league status. That is down to the lure of money and exposure that the PL gives and has very little to do with Liverpool Football Club. Look around and you will see that clubs deemed to be far smaller than us us are making high profile signings, more so than ourselves. Cast your mind back to the summer - we struggled to get a manager!! No, our days of using the club's name (and god forbid our history!), are well and truly a thing of the past. The top players now want CL football and/or big money - we can offer them neither.
