Sorry if this has been asked about before as I'm new to this site and don't no what has been written about before.

How does anyone feel about our fixtures at the start of the season what with playing Man City, Arsenal and Man Utd in our 1st six games and all 3 at home.
I personally think it could be good playing them early as they may not know what to expect and no will we. But I suppose if we don't get decent results it will automatically put pressure on the team and obviously the manager.
What return would you expect or hope for after the 1st six games.
I'd hope for at least 10 points any more would be a bonus.

Bit tricky, however it would be good to get away from the 'big' teams first.

if we have difficult fixtures at the start then it means there will be easier ones a bit later on, that's the way am looking at it anyway, what it does mean is that we are playing all the bigger Clubs than ourselves away from home in the second half of the season which might make it more difficult to qualify for the Europa League again.

if liverpool do well in the cups again and win well more at home which is the No1 priority in my opinion liverpool will do ok league wise and it would make a very decent first season for brendan .

a couple of defeats in the first six games and the crowd will be singing for Benitez or Dalglish, just you watch.

Almost 2 positive posts there ;-)

I would hope for more than 10 points. We're at home and usually raise our game against the big teams, and should be about full strength. The 'new' teams usually come out firing and that's how I'm hoping we'll be, a new team.

The first 2 fixtures are really important to get us a good start and get the players believing this could work. I'd expect 12 points minimum.

well if the fans want to go backwards and do damage to the club they would be going the right way about it doing those tricks .

I will be chanting for Dalglish at Anfield unless we win every single game by at least 2 clear goals. I thought he was great lasst year and I supported him 100%.

We MUST get 3 points come the 18th August, West Bromwich Albion away.

Its pivotal we do, its crucial for our title challenge. Fail to secure 3 points, then the league is over for us for another season.

I ain't bothered if its 1-0, we win by an own goal in the last minute, I ain't bothered in the slightest, 3 points any means necessary please.

About time we win our first game, it f*cks us up every single year. Loose or draw, its always a crappy start, about time we hit the ground running.
