So if Borini turns out to be the new Ngog and Carroll gets loaned out then yes we will look stupid,but maybe the new mascot can fill in.

Whether they're footballing reasons (AC clearly doesn't fit into BR's style of play, so that shouldn't surprise anyone) or otherwise (as someone mentioned above, AC just does not have the type of off-pitch discipline that BR seems to require from his players), I think Rodgers knows what he's doing. My only concern is, I would rather that Carroll is not loaned to Newcastle. Fulham, West Ham, Milan, fine, I have no problem with that. But I can't see why anyone would be willing to let a player like AC go to a Newcastle side that could very well be one of our rivals for the Champions/Europa League spots. The last thing we need is for Carroll to fire Newcastle to the Champions League ahead of us. YNWA
