10 goals in 20 starts last season.

Only about 5 players in Serie A had better ratios than that, and they're all veterans...Borini's 21. Has worked with Rogers at Chelsea and on loan at Swansea in the championship.

I think he'd be a good signing...

Thoughts?

yeah I'd give him a shot, at 8m he's well worth the risk.

If this is the signing that we fans were oing to "love" and be really "excited" about, then i worry!.

I'm not saying it's a bad signing, i actually want this deal to happen, especially for the 8m figure being talked about.

But you cant set that kind of expectation and then bring in Borini.

Completely agree.

To say the fans will love him and will be able to get excited over this 'signing' means it can't be Granero, Borini or Dempsey.

Just my opinion, they are all decent but for me nothing to get excited about!

Who knows, everything is close to the chest as it should be. I think BR may have been thinking about his future performance as exiting, etc. But right enough that kind of talk would lead one to think he was talking about Kaka...oh...could he ever??

why would they want to sell him for 8m? isnt that what they spent buying him, surely they would want to make a profit. i dont think there is any think in the story
