I've watched a good few reserves games and he always stands out, I think a move to the bench in home games and 20 Min's if we are in control 2 or 3 up

I agree with putting him on the bench and giving him 20 mins here and there. But we haven't been 'in control' of many games this season. It just means that he won't get a chance if we wait for that first.

the 3 games after the arsenal match should be an opportunity for those 20 mins appearances.

The boy's not going to save our season but i agree that he definitely should be given more time on the pitch. Age or size should never be factor.

But we already know what Rafa's going to do anyway...

You are probably right. But that is not always the case remember Rob Jones debut against Utd at old trafford. Also I happen to think its make or break for Rafa and its about time he let loose a bit with the caution, he is over cautious at times. I have watched pacheco a few times in resses at warrington he has a lot of talent.

Macheda, Wellbeck and Gibson all impressed in their time on the pitch. There aren't enough of the youngsters coming through at the moment. I really hope we see more of them but we know the answer to that already.

Well said Dasil, our youngsters are poor and most of them just play in reserves and then gets transferred to other clubs. Manure youngsters are miles ahead, sad truth...Hopes King kenny changes this around.I wonder why pacheco, amoo, and others are not given their chances to impress. We cannot afford letting them impressing in reserves games and then only have a bench warm up. when we have injuries only then will we regret??? Look at manure other day, without Ferdi and Vidic still they won 4-0 against WHam..I believe Rafa must learn from fergie, sad to say it, heart breaking but its the truth

Yup the truth certainly hits home pretty hard. In terms of youngsters, we are not playing catch up with United, Chelsea or Arsenal who in my opinion have one of the best youth program, really up there with Barcelona and even surpassing Ajax.

we are competing with the likes of West Ham, Sunderland and Boro in the youth development scene.

True, If we're making the final most years with crap youngters, then I want the youth team manager to take over the first team!
