Signing him would be more of the smae old tripe ..... Heskey.... Baros....Carroll (despite play much better in the last few games than he did the rest of the year, let's face it , he's tripe).

I don't think he's as bad as you all think but he's no where near as good as he thinks. Would be a good squad player if it wasn't for his ego.

I personaly dont rate Bendter myself, think he does'nt even qualify for a mid table type player in my book, I do think we are going to see alot of players coming in that people dont really want to see tho under our new manager, I think he will buy players who are going to fit a strict regimented system and playing style rather than individual, flamboyant style players we have signed in the past and who everyone likes.

Just one more thing can anyone sensibly tell me why we are'nt a mid table team because in my book we definately are...

Ian we are a mid table side. But lets not get things out of perspective with a decent manager some quality signings and some impetus from our owners we could be a top 4 side again soon. We are still a huge club lets not put the condemed signs up just yet.
