As a season ticket holder (just about getting more hacked off as each year goes by) two big things hack me off.

1 - That anti racism / homophobia thing they lecture you with before the game and at half time. Its really really gets to me. Don't get me wrong I hate discrimination of any form. However I am on a day out at the match entertainment I have paid £40 I have done nothing wrong, I don't need to be accussed of things or treated like a crimimal. I witnessed the real racism john barnes got we dont see that anymore and these polically correct things are unncessary and insulting and I feel can lead to resentment and even poor community cohesion,

2 - The second thing that bugs me is games played on a monday night (Everton) and the man utd game at midday on a sunday what on earth is that about? The match going fan is taken for granted and a poor second to the TV fan in my view. I pay all that money to see liverpool play and make a day of it THAT MEANS SATURDAY AFTERNOON 3PM

To all you who wished you had a season ticket don't, take it from me boys its crap.

we have these absurd kick off times to keep our fans in the far east happy, 12.45 kick off Saturday lunch time here is prime time early evening viewing in Singapoore or Bangkok rememeber Stanley, the Club obviously gets weighed in to play games at such ridiculous times but as you say it's all about the armchair viewer match goers are treated like sh*t.

unfortunately it's all about money, years ago Clubs had to rely on gate receipts, not anymore, we could even afford to play games in an empty stadium and probably still make a profit thats how low down match goers have dropped. The Club now chases Shirt Sponsors, merchandise, subscriptions and television revenue these are far more important to a football club than those who actualy turns up to watch a game, not enough money in it for the Club.

yes it would look pretty crap on the telly with no atmosphere but it would'nt be looking crap at the bottom of Liverpool Football Clubs Profit margin at the end of each season and thats the most important thing to the Club, not if theres any singing or atmosphere in a stadium.

Back in the day there was no football on a Sunday. Mind you there was not a lot on telly either hust MOTD and Star Soccer or The Big Match if you were in London/south.

Now it is all about business. We follow a business like guys in the city follow stocks and shares with the exception that we have a loyalty to our favourite brand.

Whilst there is still a waiting list and a waiting list to go on the waiting list and so on.... there will always be 40000 plus at Anfield. So in a supply and demand world the supplier can name the price. It borders on robbery but if you want to be involved and take on the experience you pay the money.

Having paid the money you then get the right to moan about results or the way you are entertained but it will not get you anywhere whilst there are 40000 more ready to take your place if you decide to drop out of the system.

few more seasons of no champions league footy will soon stop the 40,000 coming believe me, no champions league footy will mean no more 20 million pound players on 80k a week in wages, this means less of a chance of winning trophies or ever playing in the Champions League and given the main reason our fans chose to support the Club in the first place was because of success and glory it will certainly have a knock on effect as they wont be as loyal through the bad times and wont turn up in the numbers.
