maybe if we won the CL and Prem in a few years, we wouldn't care. why is it ok for cardiff but not us?

obvious answer is, compare the two clubs and all their history and the power of their fans also, and see if this makes sense.
Liverpool will never do a cardiff as we do not need to advance ourselves by any means necessary.

WE ARE A GIANT OF A CLUB ALREADY

don't think either set of fans has any power over the ownership or sponsorship whatsoever. this giant of a club hasn't won the title in 20 years.

if that turned into 30 years and the owners decided to sell us out for profit, there's really nothing we can so about it.

one major trophy in 20 years makes us neither a giant on or off the pitch.

I agree, one Champions League in 28 years and no leagues in 22 years hardly qualifies you as being a giant, some people get a bit diluded I think if they still think we are one of the games giants, famous Club yes most definately along with your Ajax and Benfica's of the world but Giants alongside your Madrid's, United's, Barca's of this world I think not.
