not good enough....the biggest problem is playing him and masch at the same time, and that is rafas fault.

the thing is...if we even drop mascherano and play Aqua/Lucas

or Gerrard /Lucas that means lucas gotta sit infront of the back 4 and do Monster's job,is he enough capable to defend.I mean he has cost us a couple of goals this season i believe due to his shambolic defending.how can one trust him and not forgetting we have a v v flairy right back.so thats clear enough,

for an attacking role even we know where he stands and we can have gerrard/aqua and benny for that position.

in my opinion he isn't good enough to even wear the shirt....but it doesn't look like we'll get rid of him so at the moment the biggest problem is the masch-lucas combination.

well i dont think he can do Mash's job to be honest..sometimes i agree with those who say hes running like a headless chicken

ive never ACTUALLY seen a headless chicken running (especially during a football match) so i cant comment.

i think he gives a better account of himself these days and is finding his confidence again. he had an awful start, especially as he was asked to fill alonso's shoes and was a bit of a hate factor. but he reacted better than others to pressure, weathered the storm and is busting his ass to prove himself. others have taken up rap music in similar circumstances, while others have been known to spend endless evenings brushing their tails.

i don't think anyone is questioning his mentality or his willingness to improve, but sadly it isn't enough...what i've seen so far hasn't given me any reason to think that he could handle the defensive midfield position by himself, and it's been clear for a long time that he doesn't contribute with anything when we attack...

that would surprise me (if we're talking about top team around europe)...he's not cut out for the premier league. maybe he would do good at a club like roma....
