why are the likes of tony evans (the times) even our own leader dunk plus loads on here and other media outlets , not willing to give say for argument roberto martinez a chance ? , i have already heard that in the first home game what ever the result certain people who say they are kop season ticket holders want to start the chants for benitez and or dalglish to return , for me this is now turning into anarchy and it will be just so unbelievable if it is to be martinez unlike what happened to roy hodgson who wasnt welcomed , i would like to think if it is martinez he is given a massive chance and welcomed .

i dont want him.
if he is appointed i wont like it.
but its in no one's interest for him to fail or for him to be chanted out just for the sake of it. whoever is appointed he needs to succeed. WE need him to succeed. all of us.
tbh i understood why dalglish was reappointed, i really do, and i think we now have somewhere to launch from, but this desire for benitez back is warped. i know some people might not like that and take offence, but i just find it really weird and unhealthy.
to have a little rant for a moment, im sick of benitez. im sick of hearing about martinez as well to be honest and i think we are in danger of talking ourselves into a false sense of optimism that either of these guys will work out.
my question is this: what the fck is wrong with this club and its fans!! why cant we just have a nice healthy attitude of "new manager with new ideas and with exciting potential"? that was what we have when we introduced raffa the first time round. why not just do it again? or at least want it again.
Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria He came from Barca, to bring us Joy He's five foot seven, he's football heaven please don't take my Luis away.

There should be lot of people who must have moaned about Bill shankly's appointment.
I AM NOT COMPARING SHANKLY with Martinez. Just saying the fact.
I believe Martinez good enough to make most of the fans happy.

If its true that the kop will chant foe raffa or kenny back then that is absolutely disgraceful. It is true that he wasn't my first choice but shud he be appointed will have my full support and will have every opportunity to prooveme wrong. We need togetherness at the club and we shud support absolutely anyone who is trying their best for the club at least for a season, until a real assessment can be taken. Otherwise like said already their will be anarchy and we will never improve! YNWA Roberto!

I think appointing martinez is just showing a serious lack of ambition from owners who are demanding top four. I started a thread when FSG sacked the king last week, asking if fans really thought FSG were providing sufficient backing to live up to their top four ambitions. Appointing Martinez is the cheap option. I'll let you draw your own conclusions

Why do you have to start so many threads complaining about other fans and with an angry face. Who says Martinez is not going to be given a chance. What are the actual words you're talking about from Tony Evans or from Dunk or whoever? Personally I don't know anyone who wouldn't give any new manager a chance> I don't know who you spend your time with... read tony evans twitter page he is so bitter , plus the sos and there petition , plus other media outlet predicting relegation for liverpool if martinez is appointed just so unbelievable , by the way dunk isnt so bad he just wanted benitez but others just shocking .

No but there are a lot of managers out there who would be less of a risk

FSG wants to introduce a model similar to US sports. I don't think there is any manager(Already achieved something) who is willing to take up the job. Why don't we give the job to a man who plays better football???
