think we might be jumping the gun a bit here.they have only met one candidate.dave whealen isgetting on my left nut.

Dave Whelan really is a grade A [oops]. Regardless, if it's true, whether you want Martinez or not, it's time to get behind the club and show support.

Fair enough if FSG want him.

No problem with that.

But why all the 'interview 12 people shenanigans'?

Doesn't seem like there has been evidence of anybody but Martinez actually being interviewed. Media speculation.

Will support him 100% if he gets the job. In the meantime praying to god he doesn't take it...

He may not take it. I have trouble believing FSG are going to give him full control of player movement and transfers. Thats what he wants if he takes the job.

Only player on our squad that showed anything close to his pace all season was Sterling and that was for about 5 minutes.

I'm sick of the uncertainly and constant risks the owners have made and are willing to make. This could ruin the club, I can see why they might appoint him but I have more reasons why he shouldn't be.

So much for FSG 'casting the net far and wide' and 'completing a thorough lengthy selection process.' They decided (for reasons known only to themselves) that RM was their man. He's been offered the job before anyone else has been interviewed. How exactly is that a thorough, lengthy selection process?!? Not happy about this one little bit.

As fans we DON'T have a right to know everything about FSG but I'm exepecting some kind of explanation as to why they have appointed a novice manager with a weak CV, when there were so many better options available.
Excuse the negativity, but I think we'll be having the "who will be the next LFC manager" next summer. I hope to god he's on a maximum of a 2yr contract.

fully agree carheex. it just doesnt ad up. it makes the whole 12 candidate thing look ridiculous and it seems it was just a pre planned excuse to say "oh but we tried everyone else and couldnt get them".
