I think its about time the players took some responsability for there performances its there fault kenny got sacked and now its up to them to get behind there new manager whoever it maybe and crack on. I am worried about the transfers but we dont know who were looking at yet im sure the club can still attract big players. I agree that Rafa fits the bill but we do need to get away from the past managers and start a new page in liverpools history. YNWA Why is their fault? Take henderson for example - rubbish before he signed for us, rubbish now - no one made kenny sign a rubbish player. Just because we forked out £20m it doesn't mean he's going to suddenly have £20m worth of talent in his boots. A lot of our failings came down to poor tactics, team selections, signings and substitutions. I can't think of one player who performed below his ability level last season. Henderson cant be the one reason why wev played so badly this season. Kenny cant help them on the pitch we win games by scoring and we cant hit the target. I agree there were some tactical errors but when your beating qpr 2-0 and we end up losing then we have to start looking at the players.

Rafa and Kenny are 2 very different stories. Rafa has had a lot of recent success under difficult circumstances and was forced out of the club. Kenny had an all-conquering side handed to him on a plate which he did a good job with A VERY LONG TIME AGO and then walked out on us. He then failed miserably despite being given more money than any LFC manager in history.
Just because they are both ex-employees there is absolutely no logic to suggest that the story will end the same.

Henderson was just an example but the same applies to most of his other acquisitions. The reason carroll didn't perform like a world class £35m striker is because he isn't one - that's not his fault. The blame lies with kenny for bringing him in when.

you forget to mention that the players wanted kenny and would most likely be disgusted not to have him now..the players wanted rafa gone, carra said his time was up..he went the wrong direction, can blame the owners and wahtever but on the training field rafa lost the squad,,his time is up.

To be fair, that is purely guesswork. And if bringing Rafa back meant upsetting carragher then that's tough sh!t, he shouldn't be bad mouthing respected managers - he's our 'John Terry' and needs to know his place. Besides he's well past his best anyway and cost us many points this season so would he be a big loss?

think carra had the pulse of the club and the squad when he said that..you'll not find any player saying he should come back or should have stayed. rafa then when to inter and injured the whole squad because after losing paco he didn't know the first thing about fitness..in his last years the players were dropping like flies, same at inter..remember rafa hiring the newcastle fittness team..what a joke

It's about time the players started to take some responsibility! At the end of the day, Kenny got his signings and tactics wrong but these guys are being paid serious amounts of money to perform! If they don't feel like they can perform for a manager like Martinez then in my mind they can [oops] right off!
Reina has been appalling for nearly 3 years now, was it Kenny's fault that he just gives goals away? I don't blame him for being disillusioned but at least put the effort in!
When was the last time you saw Gerrard take a game by the scruff of the neck, score a belter and dominate a midfield?
I know what these guys have done for the club but seriously, it's about time they got back to basics and started playing for the club that pays them, not sulking about the manager and other things that they can't control!
