Maybe being a bit football Manager here but imaginge a big name man coming in and a 70m kitty being given,the thought of a falcao quality of striker,maybe adam johnson and a proper world beating center mid coming in,that will lift the mood around the club. just a week ago we were all thinking are biggest signing was going to be Rasmus Elm

I think Downing and Henderson will stay, I think hendo really did grow into his game during the back end on the season, I do see Kuyt and Maxi being the first ones to leave which is sad because both work hard and have had there moments this season. I do hope the new manager does get a decent kitty to strengthen, especially in Center midfield, as much a a do like spearings heart and work rate he needs to get a loan to a lower Prem club, so he can work on his game, I would like to say 70 million would he about right, but I really think it will be about 40 - 50 plus the money made from sales. Also I wouldn't say no to a player like rasmus elm, he looks a strong technical player from the odd AZ game that has been on this season, but he wouldn't be the star signing hopefully.

benitez and avb , would take any amount of money to manage liverpool , and the others havent been approached and if you offered them 100 million i dont think they would come so doubt were gonna get 70 million , this is my opionion because i am a very depreesed liverpool , i hope your reasoning is right but i doubt it

Well if we got Rafa or AVB I wouldn't be disappointed, some of the managers are either a massive gamble or never going to happen. I would personally wanted someone like Klopp (which isn't going to happen) or Garcia from Lille but again unlikely. Rafa knows lfc and only left due to him falling out with heckle and jeckle and avb could he a perfect fit for us. Just would rather they get them in asap, so they can get some of there targets in before the euro's because using elm for example, would cost 7 million before euro has a good tournament and then we end up paying something like 15 million for him.

I hope you're correct about the transfer budget obviously but I'm not entirely sure to be honest. I think the stature of the future manager will be telling. If it's a high profile manager, I'd imagine he'd want assurances over the transfer budget before signing. Somebody like Rafa on the other hand, who I'm sure is desperate for the job mightn't be so demanding and will just be happy to be back in the job.
