1st choice would be for Klopp (especially if he brings Goetze with him) then Benitez. Would be curious to see what Martinez could do though, it would be a big risk and hopefully we'll get one of the other 2, but would be interesting to see.

seems strange that we appoint him as first choice, he will probably get it if our first choices say no.

and what are the odds on martinez saying no if offered the job lol if Martinez gets the job it wouldnt be the worst thing in the world though, would certainly prefer him to Capello. I just want a decision to be made so that the new manager can start bringing in players

I would like to say that we should start fresh and move forward with a new manager but i cant stop thinking about how great this club would have been if rafa had these owners while he was in charge! i think rafa has unfinished business and i dont think its his ego that drives that, i think he truly wants to and can do it for the fans! All those [oops] players that he bought that everyone goes on about were budget buys or bosmans!! if he had the same amount of money that kenny had im sure we wouldnt be sitting here whinging about the [oops] season we just had with the [oops] poor signings!! Rafa will also have the ability on reputation alone to still attract star players who will believe in the project, unlike martinez who, lets face it, wont!! this might sound stupid but i dont even know if pep can get the job done!! barcelona wasnt exactly the shittest team on the planet when he took charge!! I say bring Rafa back, but if they dont then whoever they do get i hope brings back the glory days!!

My top 3 choices would be:

Jurgen Klopp - Done great a Dortmund with little funds and would be a good long term manager, but like people have said would he come.

Rudi Garcia - Lille manager, again done wonders there and when I have seen them they play beautiful football.

AVB - In my opinion wasnt given a fair shake at Chelsea and I think he could do very well with a work in progress team we currently have.
