But usually you would interview those you think are good enough for the job. Roy has been doing as well as Martinez saving teams from relegation, would have been better to just keep him then. I think LFC is just getting more and more the laughing stock now

Martinez always claimed to be a student of Rafa Benitez. Why settle for Martinez when you can have his mentor. Anyway, why would the owners sign a mid-table manager. This is retarded crazy if it happens.

In 2008-09 Wigan finished 11th under Steve Bruce. Then RM took over. In 2009-10 they finished 16th, in the 2010-11 they finished 16th and this year they finished 15th.

He's not only had zero success with Wigan he's taken them backwards !

It's an absolute mystery why this guy is rated so highly, I'm sure it's down to Dave Whelan bigging him up at every opportunity.

so maybe that's why they want a young manager like martinez. it could prove to be a very good combination (txixi/martinez)

When Bruce was in charge he had the likes of Palacios, Valencia and an in form Rodellega and they were all ripped away from, ripping apart the squad and hardly and quality players

However, I think Martinez is a good manager, but he is not ready yet.
