Henderson is potentially a very good player and recent performances have shown great promise. Blackburn, Arsenal and Chelsea games he was outstanding. He sticks out a mile in the U21s.
It is however very much in his hands, he needs to toughen up mentally or he will spend alot of time on the bench and then be shipped on.
the squad is ok/good but the first team is not dynamic enough but lacks pace and guile. Come on, don't be silly now! watch it back it truly did happen. He and Shelver bossed that midfield. Try offer some credit! if it helps satisfy you he looked anervous wreck for 20+ games this season

Lee Cattermole and Fabrice Muamba have looked good for the England U21's...
I just can't see a future for him, I really don't think he is or ever will be good enough! Same goes for Charlie Adam! Many people were saying the same thing about Lucas mate and many people were left with egg on their face! I think the lad has potential but totally agree that he has a lot of improving to do before he gets there.

Fair enough, I would much rather see Adam gone than Henderson because he is toilet!!!
Henderson needs to toughen up, he doesn't appear to have the mentality to boss a midfield, to win a big tackle, to hit a 40/50 yard killer pass, to smash one in from 20 or 30 yards! These are the abilities that make a top midfield player!

I mentioned Cattermole because he has looked ok for the England U21's, not because he is any good!
I was just using this as an example, its ok to be good at U21 level, but playing for the national team and a team looking to get into the Champions League is completely different!
Hence why I don't think Henderson will be good enough!
