Kenny shouldn't really have been appointed in the first place. It was the fans that pushed for it and it was always going to be hard to drop him.

As much as I can see the point in giving him another season, I think that would just be prelonging the inevitable.

At least now the players that have been under performing this season will now have to improve or get shot..

The new manager will hopefully have no worries about dropping or loaning out the dross.

I really hope the official statement is kind on Kenny though and he doesn't throw his toys out of the pram if they are not. Please just make it simple..

What now for Aqualiani and Joe Cole? Its all very interesting what will happen, we need to get things sorted soon though for transfers..

We have to trust FSG to get it right I suspect they have been looking for months,

to be fair to the lad he has been saying this since day one

just cause fsg have pulled the plug in a knee jerk way does not make him right about kenny. if blackburn sacked kenny after his first poor season then he wouldn't have won them the prem. there was enough good performances from us to think that a few tweaks would have got us going again. kenny would have sorted things out over the summer, now its start all over again. fsg will appoint a stupid DOF and a another manager/physio/goal keeper coach..probably sack them all again within a year..its a joke and a knne jerk

listen, daglish has won our first trophy in how many years? what this now means is that any new manager coming to the club next season has to finish 4th and win a trophy. if he doesn't then by right he should be deemed as unsuccessful and worthy of sacking?

is this what the club is going to become now? adopt a hire and fire policy like the chelsea laughing stock that lurked in the xmas period?

can a manager realistically get us fourth place in his first season?

they never ran him out of the club, he handed in a transfer request on deadline day to join his former coach andre villas boas at chelsea. in this day and age i think its hard to stand in a players way if he wants to leave. plus imo the approach that no player in the world is bigger than liverpool football club is the correct stance to take no matter how good they are

he was 1 of our best players. they had all summer to give him his contract he wanted, they didn't cause he is not 18. fella was the difference for us,even last game came on and turned us into a dangerous team against arsenal. fsg fecked up with raul cause they don't know football.

Did anyone listen to Ian Ayre's interview on Sky Sports?
He said that FSG's long term plan was to improve revenues, build the business, lay down foundations and that the NEXT important thing was to build the football!
Sorry Ian but i would like to see the football being built first!
