Bent would be a good signing at the right price. If it gets any where near the £20m mark then no. He will score goals. Has done every where he's been but he doesn't do a lot else.

I don't like him as a player but he has a good goalscoring record
(nearly one every other game) which is considerably better than anybody we have at the moment. He's probably a bit similar to carroll so i would'nt expect us to go for him.
Having said that for 10 or so million might be worth a go.

£10m tops. Question is could he play with either Suarez or Carroll. The striker we need in has to be able to play with either or both in a 3 man attack when we need a late goal.

Downing was 27- the same age as Bent. Why was he bought? Honestly if we buy Bent we will be making another big mistake. Hoilett, Dempsey & Moses are better bets than Bent.

After the FA Cup final I had a joke with my mate saying Kenny was staying, he would sell Suarez and replace him with Bent i hope this isn't true frown
