He isn't bad, per se. He doen't make mistakes. He's just afraid to push himself because he doesn't want to loose the ball. He has bags of skill and plenty of athleticism, you can see it. He just needs to grow a pair and have the courage to use his tools.

yep lucas used to be afraid to really show his worth, and used to get hammered by everyone and their dog.

look at him now.

But there are no similarities between the two of them. There were reasons why lucas took a while to get going.....

- he was in a foreign country and strugged to communicate
- he had never played in the premier league before
- he was in a in a different country/culture and didn't know a soul
- he was an attacking midfielder being asked to primarily defend

None of the above applies to henderson.

His passing is poor, he goes missing for the majority of games, not sure if he can tackle as i've never seen him try, and there's a huge questionmark over his creativity (how many assists/goals this season?) and marking. What midfield attributes does he have that can be demonstrated?
