Bellamy has been one of our players of the season, imo. He has however, taken a steep decline in terms of how influential he's been ever since the League Cup final. I thought he was poor that day and he hasn't been the same ever since. Before that, he was oustanding, and offered us so much - pace, trickery, excellent delivery from free kicks and corners, defenders hate facing him when he's running at them, particularly down the left.
As for his attitude, he's always been a fiery character, and always will. I think as a whole, the Liverpool fans love him for that, as have fans wherever he's been. I'm actually genuinely surprised to see even a couple of fans here talking ill of him. Didn't think anyone could really have much of a bad word to say about him since he's re-signed with us. BArlennon, John Terry is a good player, but would you like him? Stephen Ireland, Joey barton? I remember the uproar when we were looking at signing Lee Bowyer, who at the time was a decent player. What about players we've actually had, like Diouf, or Julian Dicks, Ruddock, Collymore. I can't say I like any of those really, but Collymore was outstanding with Fowler one season. Terry, Ireland, Barton, Diouf?! You're comparing Bellamy to those? I don't think he's ever done anything as bad as some of the stuff that crowd have done. Terry is an absolute c*nt, but he's idolised by Chelsea fans. I'll say no more about that, but Bellamy has been nothing but an absolute pro since rejoining us. In fact, it's been a few years since there's been any sort of controversy surrounding him. To me, he's matured a lot in the last few years. I can understand why people wouldn't like Bellamy, but mainly fans of other teams. Bellamy gives his all for the club, and that's something that I appreciate and will always welcome.

Thing is, Bellamy isn't your typical "hard man"....like many "hard men" footballers, they'd probably run away after giving it some mouth. Bellerz would stand there all day giving it gob AND back it up if it got a retaliation.
Bellamy is the definition of hard, very hands on, very hard on.
Do not cross Craig, he'd take you out with a finger flick.

If I was Roy today, being appointed England manager. I would have given my idea and philosophy to the world.

Not to mention his attack on Riise. Bellendy is an out-and-out pr!ck that doesn't deserve to be at LFC.

Really? I thought Bellamy was arrested only last year for some sort of assault allegation. That's about the 3rd or 4th time isn't it?
Did Bellamy give his all during the cup final? Not so convinced. I've seen him give his all, and it didn't look like that to me. Watch him closely. He can lose the ball, and just walk around with head down while other players chase around to get it back. That's not giving his all. Last year? That one's news to me, if it's true. I thought he was poor in the cup final, and hasn't been the same since, aside from a few bits here and there. Before that, he was without a doubt one of our players of the season, and whatever way you look at it, has been one of the signings of the season (for ANY club), costing nothing.
