Kenny's comments are bewildering.
It seems like we did force him out to get of the wage bill....and for no other reason I can think of. He was one of the better players in preseason, you simply wouldn't just let a player go that easily, unless you wanted away.

This saga stinks! We have obviously needed a bit of class in midfield all season, we sold Meireles as well, suffered injuries in the position and now look very lightweight in midfield.
Not good enough. Alberto should have stayed and be given a season, he has more technical ability in just one of his testicles, than the likes of Adam and Henderson have in there whole body.
