But looking at our current team and our glaring faults... he just isn't what is needed right now. It would be a retrogressive step... and the wrong decision.
KP, not at all like our current manager then Whether you like it or not - the jury is still out on Kenny. You may get your wish... you may not. Rafa got six years of failing in the league... so hardly fair to give Kenny just one. You will say Rafa won the CL in his first season... well Kenny didn't have the opportunity to... but he's 100% in cup competitions right now. Roy Hodgson got two games before the crowd thought he was not good enough so how can a jury be undecided after about 18 months of a manager being in charge, especialy a manager who is clearly the worst we have had in over 50 years.

because one of them is kenny dalglish and the other is roy hodgson. one of them has had a lot of success with the club in the past, and has done a tremendous amount of stabilising the club during this present time, and the other is roy hodgson. one of them has handed us our first trophy in 6 years and the other is roy hodgson. one of them embodies lfc, the other embodies west brom and the like.
dalglish, despite the recent bad run of games, has brought quality football back to the club, hodgson was never going to do it. also as a player when you come to liverpool, go into the dressing room and kenny d is there, you know you have arrived at lfc. Ifyou walk in and see roy hodgson their you think to yourself, i must be in the away teams dressing room.
Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria He came from Barca, to bring us Joy He's five foot seven, he's football heaven please don't take my Luis away.

mornin, I still havent decided if i will take it or not. cant see it being raffa, he was very much of the opinion that he should be lord of everything before he left the last time, but maybe he would be different with dalglish? dont know, i think if raffa took it he would be trying to get in the back door to the managers job and christ knows he talks a good game. tbh i would rather we didnt have a director of football. leave it as is for now, if it doesnt work out, let dalglish step down and let cryuff or whoever it is take the reigns.

AGREED
no DOF needed IMO
Just install a manager with decent coaches.
It works at arsenal man u barca and real madrid.

It works at arsenal man u barca and real madrid. arsenal and Manutd have had serious bad patches but stayed with their manager and the results are there to see. So why do people want to get rid of Kenny? I have yet to see one compelling argument which means he needs to be sacked immediately. so far we have: -he bottled it back in 1990 so will do it again? why did he bottle it, he left because he was traumatised and it was 22yrs ago -He is worse than Hodgson - well Hodgson averaged 1.25pts per game(Kenny 1.55) and got dumped out of the Carling cup by Northampton, never mind his signings or turgid football. - Kenny's interviews are embarassing and never tells it the way it is? you mean like Ferguson or Wenger interviews then ? where they blame the referee or do not see any incidents, when do they criticise their players?- His signings are all crap. well we wanted young players and we wanted to get rid of 14 other players, so mission acomplished only time will tell on his current signings but so far 50% are ok. pretty standard for any managerMy point being that whilst we are stumbling along in the league the club is moving forward in so many other areas. The league form is about long term consistency and this will only happen if players stay together and keep working to improve. Nobody should be delighted with our league form but it does not mean we should again rip the team apart in the summer.
