Not necessarily.
If FSG decide to end Kenny's reign.. so be it.
But if Kenny stays and gets it right that would be wonderful too. We don't know the inner workings of the Kenny/Comolli partnership. Perhaps Kenny will fare better without someone looking over him... perhaps he'll follow Comolli out the door in the summer. Either way... there's no reason to keep continually wishing Kenny ill.
You think Liverpool were a great club don't you? Wanna know one of the big reasons why we reached the heights we did? Kenny Dalglish! He will either succeed or be moved out... no need to keep slamming him all the time.
Agreed, but this last year has shown us that even with £115m of spending power he hasn't improved our league position one bit (we've actually got worse!), therefore the likelihood of him succeeding is very low. If he had shown league progress then no one would be so keen to get rid of him. I admire your loyalty and I know you are going to say that he needs more time but at some stage you have to concede that it isn't working. For me, that became apparent several months ago.
The aim of Liverpool Football Club is to be profitable and successul...period (as the owners might say) - it's aim is not be profitable and successul "with kenny dalglish in charge."
Ken has had a go and not done very well at all (and that's putting it lightly). The next phase of FSG's plan appears to be kicking off - hopefully that means with a manager who has won leagues and european competitions, and has the ability to build a team by finding and developing talent as well as making good value purchases.
