oh ok so all is forgiven if liverpool win saturday , forget about the dire league programme then ? You can whinge and moan all you want. Trophies is the name of the game... and if we win two out of three it will be seen as a good foundation to improve our league performance. Everyone on this site has conceded that our league position is not good enough... and we all understand that it could cost Kenny his job. Now how about you admit that winning two trophies out of three is still some sort of achievement? If it isn't... then why don't most teams do it? Go on... time to man up a bit! winning cups doesnt mean liverpool are good and the league not good what an understatement , yes the cups are a form of success but the season can not be a success finishing 8th or 9th or lower

what are you going to judge him on ? will all be well if liverpool beat everton and all will be forgiven ? ive no intention of hinging my judgement on saturday and i have no idea where you are coming from faz when we were talking about kenny's interviews with sky.

what are you going to judge him on ? will all be well if liverpool beat everton and all will be forgiven ? ive no intention of hinging my judgement on saturday and i have no idea where you are coming from faz when we were talking about kenny's interviews with sky. his spikey interviews are the sign of him being out of his depth and not being able to do the right things and its not just been once now he has been an embarrassment.

For say Everton or Sunderland winning the Carling Cup and FA Cup would be a dream season. But we are not Everton or Sunderland are we? This is Liverpool FC the most sucessfull team in britain 5 european cups 18 league titles the greatest team in the country for many years. Now KP if suddenly all those standards have changed then fine but no body told me about it. For gods sake man......if you are the new type of pragmatic fan then we are finished. Truly and utterly finished no ambition, no hope no desire just acceptance of third best. 8th place in the LEAGUE AND A LIVERPOOL FAN THINKS ITS OK. I can't understand what is happening here?

Little bit of info for those that keep banging on about saturday's game in terms of us having a successful season....Saturday is the semi-final, not the final!!
And the trophy wins have no significance on a foundation for building league success - none whatsoever. What has our league performance been like since we beat cardiff? as crap as it was before, possibly even worse.
In order for LFC to move forward, and be successful on the biggest stage(s) we need to be competing for the league title and champions league - they are the only things that will make us big again. Top players aren't attracted to domestic cups and neither are big money sponsors/investors. So whether anyone wishes to admit or not, the cups mean very little and should have no bearing on whether we keep our manager or not.

I disagree faz, I think he is defending the club and not kow-towing to Sky.
I think the owners gave him precious little support during the Suarez affair and with hindsight he would probably handle it differently.
But outside of that he hasn't been any worse than any other premiership manager.
