Rotation potentially could answer one or two questions, but he's rotating players that compliment one another out of sync.
Totally agree, and it's pĂssing me off as much as our ability to hit the posts and the crossbar every time we get close to the opposition's goal!
Taking today as just an example, Downing and carroll is a match for obvious reasons (certainly this season brings that into question), but you would have those two in the same team, likewise, you would play bellamy when your playing the ball more along the ground, not when your whipping balls into the box. Kenny seems to have a third of one team, and a third of another, neither of those thirds can play together, and it wouldn't matter anyway because we are missing another 3rd completely.
Right! And the last 3:rd missing is either due to injuries (Kelly, Lucas and Glen) or simply that we haven't got them in the club at all yet!
I see no plan with Liverpool. We only really get anywhere when someone takes it upon themselves to do something special, most often suarez, increasingly again Gerrard. But neither of these players are consistent enough this season, nor do they seem to have the finish or quality final ball to make the last bit of difference this season. There is a lot for the players to answer for, but I honestly believe Kenny is putting teams out (sometimes being forced to due to poor signings) that don't compliment one another and, at the risk of repeating myself, just don't have a common strategy or direction.
Agreed again! It seems that we this season have got rid of the real dross (Poulsen, Konchesky et al) who couldn't play technically oriented football. These players didn't have the individual ability to get past a defender by themselves. Now we have more players who can take on their defender - but collectively they seem completely inept at playing the game. We have no one who can make that game. We have few who can be that game and we have few who can play that game.
