well thats what this season has been full of excuses well ok villa sat in fighting for there lives and got a point , but liverpool are just toothless and i cant see this changing in the near future unless things change on and off the field the club hierarchy need to be ruthless and start thinking of the clubs welfare and not sentiment .

mate don't worry yourself, Mr Henry never wanted Dalglish in the first place, and won't keep him on past this season

Sort of like these endless "Kenny out" threads? if fans what dalglish out i wouldnt say they are wrong as there is nothing to say the league form will change and nothing to say it will next season either sadly .

Just come back from Anfield cannot ever remember so flat a team performance and mood of resignation in the stadium. Yes the Kop chanted Dalglish once or twice but it was half hearted and more in memory of better times, the mutterings in the crowd all the time indicate everyone has given up. There's a kind of gallows humour about the place. We all know what needs to be done we cannot go into next season like this. Nice touch on the kop before the start of the game banner for the ill Villa captain "all the best". That shows what decent people we are. All credit to the Villa fans who immediately shouted down one idiot in the minutes silence for Hillsborough I cannot believe its 23 years.

I don't understand why the Anfield fans blindly support kenny though, I guess sentiment is more important than the club

Dalglish came back and stabilized the club after the Hodgson, Hicks and Gillet era. He succeeded at that and got rid of many of the deadwood players we had at the time, Poulson, Konchesky, Ngog etc.
kenny will likely resign at the end of the season. There is nothing left to play for in the league this season, deal with it. No point in appointing a new manager now, may as well wait untill the end of the season and start a new season with the new manager syndrome.
Just remember that Kenny won us our first cup in 6 years and helped stabilize us after that terrible period under H+G.
