Rafa failed to win the league at Liverpool in 6 seasons. He's out of contention now. There is no guarantee he would have spent the money any better last season... he bought quite a few duds in his time. No manager always gets their top targets so that's not an excuse for him. You'd be a total fool to say the man is out of contention, UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY KNOW, for certain, 100% and the owners have verbally told you, personally, he is out of contention.

Do you know that?

Some people wouldn't mind if Rafa came back, yet people who don't want him back are like "He is categorically 100% out of contention"

I really do think that AVB will be in charge next season, he will be free which will appeal and Kenny can move back into an academy role!

He was FSG's number one target until we, the fans demanded Dalglish and they had to give in to the pressure!

How do you KNOW he will be free?

Free from a job, unemployed, yes.

But Villas Boas could quite easily through an agent, demand a fee. He has no affiliation or history with the club.

Someone like Rafa could be "free"

AVB has no experience, he has one single senior season under his belt at a poor league. Over hyped. Next please.
