Poxy nazi government changing the rules so that that you need a VAT number to tax a commercial vehicle,otherwise it is taxed as private.
Well that would be an advantage over 'ere, as road tax for commercials is vastly higher than for private passenger vehicles.
e.g. Current Corsa 1.3 cdti 5 seater CAR, £30 RFL P.A.
Exactly the same vehicle, but no back side windows, and no rear seat, therefore classed as commercial, £220!!
VAT is an irrelevance on the road tax, but when you come to purchase,you can claim the full 100% of the 20% back.
