What was he thinking. 4-5-1 vs 3-4-3, blurring to 4-4-2 with Henderson on the right. Or maybe in the middle. Or maybe... Downing roaming all over the place rather than just staying the f*cking left where he's actually good. Carroll should have started and no amount of luck will change that, Kenny! Why is it so hard to pick the formation that actually wins games, you know, like the one that beat Wolves, Everton and Stoke?
The only thing he got right was getting Carroll on at half time, and giving Sterling a run-out. For the rest it was clear we didn't have a clue. We dominated for the first 20 minutes and had maybe one attempt on goal! Once again we made all the running, and once again we got what we deserved - nothing!
I'm starting to wonder whether Dalglish will be in charge long enough to get those two FA Cup games that may save his job. Watching the LFC fans leaving the ground early and hearing the boos should have brought it home that this is far from good enough. 8 points from the last 12, and Hodgson's 25 points from 20 is looking like gold right now.
