Gerrard in, boy does he need to step up to the plate....granted he has been injured for a while, but he has been so ineffective in every game since his return. He is clearly a shadow of his great self and standards he set a few years back. For me he holds us back, however the alternative of Spearing, Hendo, Adam is too painful to think of... Dear oh dear we used to have a midfield of Alonso, Masch, Gerrard...pure class. Oh [oops] Carra is also playing, he must hang his boots up. He's a walking liability!
