He could do it at Ajax. He was banging them in there. Andy Carroll was banging them in at Newcastle. Stewart Downing scored 8 in his last season at Villa. Adam scored 13 last season with Blackpool. Why are none of them scoring enough here? Maybe it's the coaching? Or the system that we're playing?

To be fair... Mateja Kezman was also "banging them in" in the Eredivisie. So was Alfonso Alves. But I get your point. Players don't suddenly become sh*t overnight. Well, except for Charlie Adam.

Yeah, it certainly happens alright. It's quite suspect when so many players come to one club and it happens to them at the same though.

I agree with you Kop, but I have to say that the whole evra thing has us brought to this topic. He gets booed every where he turns, he has had his integrity questioned on numerous occasions. and to capp it all of even some of our clubs supporters have slated him on here aswell as other sites. To be honest you couldn't blame him for wanting to, the press costanly writing stuff about him, every report they feel the need to bring it up. The press are running teams at the minute from national to club level they like you your in, they don't they'll print Sh1te about you until you go, that coupled with playing with amatures, "How's he supposed to fly like an Eagle when he's scratting around with the Chickens"!!!

Have the owners got the bllx to make available 50/60m+,for the new manager to go out their n buy at least 4 quality players to alongside saurez, fit sg, reina, agger, Jose, Kelly, skrtel.

No way in hell r the owners going to trust kd, comolli with that kind of money again.

Agreed. He needs players who can control a ball and who can think quickly. Of all the players we have Henderson is probably closest to that ideal, unless he's being wasted on the right as usual. Or maybe Maxi who at least knows how to poach a goal or three. Obviously the fact that Henderson doesn't play in the middle and Maxi doesn't play at all is because we're so much better in a different formation....

If he goes we must milk the transfer fee to make up for Carroll. Otherwise, isn't the solution to sign the Uruguayan captain from PSG? It's not like he's played much for them this season anyway (9 starts, is it?).

You know things are bad when people are saying Saurez should be sold. It's make or break time, invest and hope they, and last summers signings step up, or sell him watch us fall into mediocrity.

well i say if thats what you want then go , and liverpool must cash in and buy a goalscorer , suarez 6 league goals 2 goals in 17 games , all the hassle he has brought to the club i say cash in get as much money as liverpool can get and buy someone who knows where the net is .

its been taken out of contexted, he was talking in a video being made about Lugano (his country's team mate and good friend) and all he said was it would be good to play along side him week to week!

press hasnt picked up the fact Lugano might be moving to Liverpool.....

You are correct. I've also thought this.

He is not playing at all for PSG, Uruguay captain, brilliant defender, still got a few years left in him. Carra is finished, I doubt he'll play a game next season, he will be moving into a coaching position.

With that in mind, We'll be naturally looking for someone steady to bring in to cover Carra's absence and fit straight in.

Lugano would be a brilliant addition to the team and a very realistic one to!

We'd be left with only 3 first team center backs, if Carra does take a step back and Lugano would also push Agger and Skrtel....and give Coates some guidance, also being Uruguayan.

Luis Suarez's time isn't up with us. I don't doubt this for one second, this is not Fernando Torres...and it is only natural for him to want his world class Uruguayan team mates to join him at Liverpool.

He'd answer the same question about Cavani if it was put to him....but the media would twist it, so it means he wants to leave Liverpool and play for Napoli.

Dalglish is looking at Uruguayan players, mark my words. They have the right mentality, work rate and ability to to match.

If any teams gonna rival Spain's international dominance come the next World Cup, it's either Germany or Uruguay!
