His goals as a percentage of the team total is no worse than the star striker at any other club. This tells me that his shortcomings are more do with his team mates than his own talent and efforts. Let's not forget that most of his goals are his own doing because he can't rely on the shower of sh!t that are supposed to be feeding him the opportunities. We need to do the following before making ourselves look foolish:
-consider his skills
-consider his team mates
-consider record at ajax
-consider his record at international level
-ask ourselves where we'd be without his goals
We also need to pay no attention to internet gossip - have we learnt nothing over the years about how the media will create a story if they have nothing to go to print with?
Yep, he has basically single handily been our striker, our winger, our man between the lines, our link from midfield.....because the rest he has been playing with have honestly been useless, exception of Bellamy.
He was bought to play alongside Torres, we all know how that went.
Caroll obviously isn't cutting it, so a new player will be brought in to play alongside Suarez in the summer.
Suarez always had help along side him at Ajax, we're forgetting that. He needs to be able to play off and around someone.
And can anyone honestly say that they didn't see these rumors coming, 2/3 months ago?

On the pitch he is a little b*astard, that is clear. But he is our little b*stard!
Off the pitch the man seems to be a very polite, shy, young family man. All you need to look at is how the Ajax fans appreciated him when he left, and they still sing his name now.
This isn't Fernando Torres.
If Suarez wants to leave, it's because of the sh*t surrounding him....not that he wants to play for a "bigger club"
