Just read Glen Johnson's article in the Mail. He comes across as a really well balanced individual. He talks of his own problems growing up as a child in London where he was called racial names which he reacted by lamping the other person. The Suarez / Evra thing is put in perspective as a naked attempt to use the current race politics to create an issue to get back at a rival. He has also been accused of being a Tom (black person who sucks up to whites) by Paul McGrath (an alcoholic and general waster) and others who are trying to get him to be the stereotypical wronged black person just because he is black. In my view that in itself is racist.

We have just got a response from the drunk Paul McGrath to Glen Johnson's article in the Mail.

"I thought supporting a player Evra with the same skin colour might not be such a bad idea for Johnson. When he is 52 and not as popular as he is now he might think differently"

He is entitled to his opinion,I dont agree with it.

There is a pub in Cheshire near Lymm the Railway McGrath, Brian Robson and another player whos name escapes me used to be in there every day at about 11am after training where they would go on a bender, every day they did it. I used to go in for my lunch sometimes the three of them would be rat arsed at 2pm. McGrath is one total waster of a man.
