You can see how it meant to him when he scored in wembley and also was showing a lot of emotion in the interview afterwards, he totally deserves his medal and was really close to me MOTM. Well done for the lad. Lucas would of been player of the season for me but since he got injured I think Skrtel is favourite now.

yep have to agree skrtel has played very well but so has agger and the back four as a unit.

He's having a really good spell, really dominating strikers, but I have a concern that if Agger is injured Carra will come in and the team will start defending that 5-10 yds deeper again and all the good form will go out the window.

I agree, and I think the problem with that is when Carragher gets back, Skrtel has to shift to the left where Agger normally is and he does not like defending from there and gets into all sort of trouble. He is much more comfortable defending from the right.

Has he been confirmed out or did Kenny just wanted Carra to have a go in the final minutes?
