bitter is the wrong word, but i think more negative then you need to be, its ok to be a little bit happy about winning it. it would have been a fcking disaster if we lost. the club needs solid positive milestones to hang onto at the moment, we have been adrift for quite a while.

We won't have a parade for the league cup never have in the past and I hope we never will. Not playing down the cup win but come on don't be silly. What next commemorative shirts for when we win a corner?

Why not, chelsea are planning a commerative shirt for the next torres goal. The engraver has to wait for the final details before finishing, need to know what year etc to put on the shirt

Since when did we have victory parades for league cup wins?? 1st I've heard of it. 'Small club mentality' springs to mind when we start arranging fanfares for a cup that the bigger teams didn't really want. Kenny tainted the trophy himself last week when he openly admitted that the top clubs didn't take it seriously, so it hardly deserves a parade. That would be a tad embarassing, as not even Birmingham bothered and for them it was a much bigger achievement. your vile bitterness will not take anything away from the carling cup and another great cup final memory for me my 28th final and it just as good as roma 84 or wembley 83 or any of them .
