I think 4th is possible but we need to find some goals and we need to stop playing Henderson on the right, if no one else can do the role then stick Stevie there and play Adam and Spearing in the middle or play Bellamy on the right maybe.

Or play Kelly at RB and move Johnson to RM and keep playing Downing at LM he is starting to show promise there now, anyway its his best position.

It's his only position I'd say!
Apart from the bench that is!

Be a massive step if we had a lot less completely unsupportive fans but that's the way it goes .

Be a massive step if we had a lot less completely unsupportive fans but that's the way it goes . This isn't a massive concern for me. It may be on this forum, but I don't believe the ratio of fans to are willing to support and get behind the teams and players towards those people who just want to criticise is anywhere near as bad in real life. A lot of people who tend to post on message boards in general are overly-critical and unpleaseable people anyway. This isn't just unique to football forums.

If we need 7 wins from our last 13 games we'd better start praying to every god we can think of. Our last 13 league games have returned a paltry 4 wins so forgive me for not being too optimistic, especially with extra cup games to tire our players out.
-Based on our form this season (1.56pts per game) we are going to finish on 59 points. -Based on our more recent form, say the last 13 games (1.23 points per game) then the more likely outcome is that we will scrape in on 55 points. -Last season, 55 points would have got us 7th -The season before that, 55 points would have got us 9th -The season before that, 55 pints would have got us 7th -When you throw into the mix the fact that we haven't won more than 2 games on the bounce all season, it really is absurb to think we'll get 4th. -If you still need convincing, we have more energy sapping games to play than newcastle, arsenal and chelsea so they will be fresher and fitter coming in to the final furlong
Due to our poor goals scored in the league, it looks like either arsenal or chelsea will only need another 12 points from 13 games to prevent us from getting 4th.
Call me pessimistic, miserable, gloomy or whatever what makes you feel better, but the above is REALITY.
Good points actually but flip the coin and you will see that same liverpool side that have not won 3 on the bounce and have drawn more games at home then anyone else against relegation specialists are only a few points behind that spot we need. Other teams have been miserable as us which is very good as it gives us a chance but that aren't our fault either. On a good season I think Chelsea and Arsenal would still be in the title race meaning we will have zero chance of finishing 4th however if anything those teams are in more trouble than us. If we can pick up the pace and play to score goals like we did against Brighton against the swansea's and blackburns of this world which are games coming up for us then we should have a very good shout. I understand those facts you presented are not liverpool standard but I think we still have every chance in the world as the other contenders do.

Be a massive step if we had a lot less completely unsupportive fans but that's the way it goes . We could be sold-out every single game with a loyal worldwide fan base of 6 billion and henderson would still be shi!t. I'm not sure how you think that your definition of being supportive is going to improve the skills and effort of a player so far out of his depth he needs a lifejacket. If being supportive means having no idea of what makes a good footballer then I bow down to your loyalty.

Even by your standards, that's a pretty weak response. The point I am making is that if I disapprove of a player then the forum is the ideal place to discuss it, surely? Better here than at the game isn't it? I always give my full support at the games I can get to see, but if I have to cheer the likes of Henderson then I am being dishonest with myself and will come back and vent spleen. That is my right.
