Anybody who thinks Downing is a footballer does'nt know football, the feller should be arrested for impersonating a footballer. I never rated him at Boro and you have to hold the person who spent so much money for him accountable too, I thought Reira and the dredful Kewell were awful before this feller came along and he cost the most.
Got to agree with those 3 you mention and I would put Pennant on that list too. Best wide midfielder we have had by a country mile in the last 10 years was Luis Garcia. Get us another player like that and we will be in business. 1 in 4 goalscoring and loads of assists.
