Spearing has been extremely poor in the last couple of games and in my opinion he will never be good enough

Jay's doing alright. Co&&ed up for the 2nd goal at Utd and is not as good as Lucas but he's definitely a good squad player and he's still young.

Adam, Henderson, Downing and Carroll, none of them are good enough! Our midfield is abysmal, we have no urgency and its easy to see why we don't score any goals!

At least Spearing will put a tackle in....

In fairnesss to Adam, I think he is rubbish but he did well when he came on today!

it's obvious he's not class.

He should not be a first team regular, only a Sub

Most limited player in the first team squad. Should have been moved on 2-3 years ago. Championship level at the very best.

not good enough for what? back up defensive mid for a 7th place team as we are short in that position...he probably is.

Charlie adam made another goal today get off his back. Downing is the worst player in the line up. i didnt even know henderson was playing today. get rid of dowing

As a defensive mid he is the best we have at the moment, bar none. That said I don't think he is a top class 1st team stand up regular though...

If you compare him to troure of man city, macha, parker or lucas he can't compete.

He really has got better every year though.

Conor coady is better but not ready

with spearing as back up to Lucas, that tells everyone...one thing.....

lack of quality players in the starting 11.

spearing, shud be on the bench in certain games,, or be used in cup games, or come on wen the team is 3 nil up, with 20 min to go.

spearing is a ideal squad player, but never 1st choice cover for any of our centre mids

with players like ie glen, hendo, kuyt, downing, adam in the team, all we deserve is no higher position than we already r.

kd/comolli and certain players are to blame for our poor league position
