Apparently there was enough fuel for them to perform the fuel sample test, but they reckon there wouldn't have been enough to drive it back to Parc Fermme, which is why he stopped on the track...to preserve fuel for the testing.

Don't follow that particular branch of motor sport, but always sad to hear about these sort of tradgedies, regardless of the discipline.

Ey Deako. Was driving out to Chomondley Castle for the show yesterday, and I saw this pair of beasts screaming up behind me.
They couldn't initially overtake due to bends, but as soon as the road straightened out...WOWEE!

Jag XK8 Supercharged. Exhaust was crackling as he floored it past me, and you could hear the loud whine from the supercharger. Bloody piggin' awesome sound it was. Had a little warm wee in me kecks it was that good.

Next followed a Merc something or other AMG, and that sounded rather tasty too.
Pair of them were obviously having a bit of a duel I reckon.
