I think they should bring the game back to 1973 let’s see some blood and guts. Men were men in them days not the softies of today with their deodorants and smoothing shave gels. The modern game even tackling is slowly being outlawed.
Far to much money investered in players nowadays Stanley, When a Club pays 20, 30 or 50 million pounds on a player it's an investment, you cant have that investment sitting in the stands injured because some bog standard clogger like a Cattermole who costs about 5 million has put him out of action, thats why the governing body is trying to outlaw the bad tackles so your Messi's, Aguero's and Silva's stay on the pitch. I would love to go back to the 70's with all those tackles myself like, also bring back the gamblers, goosers and boozers too,Stan Bowles, Frank Worthington and Rodney Marsh, no characters in the game anymore just Mary Poppins players likes of your Shearer's and Owens.
