I couldn't care less. It was completely insignificant and things like this happen all the time. Why does every single movement have to be scrutinised!? You could go through the whole match frame by frame and make anyone out to be a goodguy or badguy.
+1
More hype over nothing.
I got annoyed with the way they were going on about Skrtel's challenge as well, it was a great tackle and we are ruining the game with this constant scrutiny of every tackle, it's the diving I want to get rid of, start banning them!
Come on man, really? If that had been Rooney that kicked someone we'd all be screaming bloody murder, intentional or not. I'm willing to give Suarez the benefit of the doubt, because I think there is some, but he's pushing his luck. It was at least reckless in that he completely disregarded the risk that he would catch Parker square in the chops and swung away. He's an absolute magnet for controversy. Of course the media is over-sensitive, but he doesn't help himself, does he?
I would not be screaming blue murder, I would be telling someone to nail the F***er later in the game, not crying about it.
The modern footballer is an angel in comparison with 20 years ago and there was none of this uproar back then over challenges.
I brought Souness into a topic the other day when someone was complaining about some of the modern players being "dirty", but they didn't view Souness as dirty...my god, if ever a player went in to hurt opposition it was Souness, it was part of his job to hammer the opposition any chance he got, but there was not the same uproar surrounding it, people got on with it and marked his card for later in the game if they were brave enough.
