Apparently LFC and the Totts are very close to an agreement for Defoe. Everything has been worked out except for who will pay for Defoe's helecopter ride to Anfield. LFC want the Tots to foot the whole bill. Harry Redknap says he will pay the base far but he refuses to pay the tax.

really dont see the point in signing tevez.even without all his baggage he just wouldnt be fit to play.he hasnt played for ages.if we are going to sign a player its got to be someone who's ready now.

Hoillett? Moses? Dyer? All players that would bring something to the right side of midfield and help us. A defensive cm? a forward? All areas that would help us. The fact it doesn't look like we are signing means there's no money?!

Of course there's money they just don't wanna [oops] up like last year.

If a player isn't for the good of the club they won't sign him and rightly so.
