Looks likely that David grogemin texeira (you. know who I mean) is gonna sign..so help me out never heard of him...will he cure our goal shyness or is he one for the 2020 all conquering team (even AC will be in his prime then)

There's a lot of talk about David Texeira from Groningen, but there doesn't seem to be anything concrete yet. Wouldn't mind seeing him signed. Apparently the other young lad Joao Carlos Teixeira is a done deal, but still no confirmation of that deal done yet.

let me put it this way...he will no set the stage alight and will not have fancy dribbles and volleys and so on, but he is a damn good poacher..very good positioning off the ball. Could be just what we need...

No, he's more of a deep lying passing midefielder (think Xabi Alonso)and can not really tackle all that well. Granero does seem to pop up with goals though. Perhaps that is because he is indeed an attacking midfileder and not a defensive mid or deep lying mid..Not Like Xabi Alonso at all, completely different role. Do you guys actually watch the players before commenting on them? Firstly, I never said that he was a defensive midfielder and I was in fact stating the opposite. Second, do you watch him play? Granero pops up with goals from corners and long shots. Rarely, if ever, does he just happen to roam into the box or within 10 yards of it. He's not a play maker in that sense and doesn't sit in the hole but instead stays further back and sprays balls about (much like Xabi Alonso) and will have a pop at goal when 25-30 yards out. Granero is not the type of player that we need right now.

Liverpool are eyeing Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez according to Madrid-based newspaper Marca.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish has kept his powder dry in the current transfer window, despite admitting that he has money to spend if he so chooses.
But his side's recent performances are thought to have given the Scot pause for thought.
Liverpool have stuttered in recent weeks, drawing 0-0 at home to Stoke City two weeks ago, with Dalglish bemoaning a lack of creativity, and then going down 3-1 to a struggling Bolton Wanderers at the weekend - a performance which left the Scot fuming.
The Merseyside giants have been heavily linked with Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero, with a loan mooted. But Los Blancos boss Jose Mourinho has long stated that he wishes no-one to arrive or depart the Bernabeu in the current window.
Valencia winger Hernandez would add real spark and intent to Liverpool's wide play, allowing Dalglish to stretch the play and also potentially supplying Andy Carroll with further precious service.
The 26-year-old is considered one of Valencia's crown jewels however and has been increasingly key ever since David Villa and David Silva were sold by Los Che.
Hernandez is under contract at the Mestalla until 2014.

let me put it this way...he will no set the stage alight and will not have fancy dribbles and volleys and so on, but he is a damn good poacher..very good positioning off the ball. Could be just what we need... Thx marko, I know we've been bad recently but overall we've been quite good and if we'd someone to let the ball hit them into the.net we'd be in top 4...imo...so if our next signing does nowt but deflect the ball into opposition nets I'm happy
