Apparently defoe put in the old get out of jail free card (transfer request)...believe it when I see it I'm ssn tomorrow...and were rumoured to be in 10-16 m. Imo worth 10 not 16....but then sow going for less and younger....bottom line is we need a finisher

LFC will always pay over the odds for average players, until we have the right people in charge, who no how to go about signing players, for market value or less ie newcastle signing papa cisse for 10m, and even the papers did not no they were in talks with the player for weeks or about to sign him, until newcastle press release came out.
thats how u do business....LFC/Kd/COMOLLI

I would not be over happy about my team losing players to the African Cup of Nations every other year especially not a dual strike force. Of course they may cash in on Ba having fed him a diet of goals whilst the going is good. In an auction he would go for in excess of £15m to anyone desperate enough. No point qualifying for CL if you lose a player for 5 weeks and then he comes back jaded just when you are getting to the business end of a domestic season and a good CL run.

thats how u do business....LFC/Kd/COMOLLI Totally agree with you on that one. We are more likely to buy Defoe/Bent for 20m instead of Sow for 12m.

I’ve seen João Teixeira a couple of time in the Next gen series and he stood out like the preverbal sore thumb. Looked top draw and ready for the first team action and a total steel at 1m, I’d also bin the idea of signing a right sided midfielder until we have given Tony Silva a few run’s out first,I reckon he could be our answer to the right side and defiantly should get a shot at the first team before the likes of sterling and Eccleston (who just isn’t going to cut-it at Liverpool imho)

The first thing we need to do is recognize that David Texeira and Joao Carlos Texeira are 2 different players. I am quite glad we got the latter. When people found out that we had turned down the opportunity to sign C.Ronaldo before he was famous they slated the club and staff and cursed our bad lack but now we are signing these youngsters before the other clubs fans are complaining that we are buying young. I think it's great we got this lad.
Sign Reus
